Halloween pursuit suspect faces drug charges

According to the po - lice report, Korey Buec - ker, 38, was allegedly driving recklessly while in Kingsland on RM 1431 around 12:18 p.m. on Oct. 31. Marble Falls police started pursuing the sus - pect, traveling east, as he reached the city limits in the 1400 block of the highway. The vehicle turned off RM 1431 and authorities eventually caught up with him on Broadway.

"The pursuit ended at The Helping Center," Po - lice Captain James Cole told The Highlander. "The guy bolted and ran inside the center." "He told the staff, 'They're after me.'" Officer Cory Munos was first on scene. "We were able to cuff and arrest him without in - cident," Cole said.
