Marble Falls ISD of- ficials are already plan - ning on how to handle the setback handed to them by voters who rejected a proposal for a tax hike Tuesday.
The final vote on the school proposition was 5,582 in favor and 6,638 against a 54.32%45.68% defeat. Altogeth - er, 12,220 voters cast ballots in the school bond election.
School board Pres - ident Kevin Naumann told The Highlander via e-mail that discussions about what programs could be cut or reduced started "immediately." The board will be active - ly involved in making those decisions, he said.
