His work is showcased in cities across Texas, as well as in Eureka Springs, Ark., and Ventura, Calif. A winner of the Overall Artist award at the 2020 Stars of Texas Paint Off Competition, Serna teaches watercolor classes via Zoom, focusing on impressionistic water color and stating, “I paint the verb, not the noun.”
