KMUD board adjusts annexation policy

Kingsland Municipal Utility District (KMUD) Board members recently adjusted one significant part of the utility’s annexation policy. District officials anticipate property owners will discover the change will make their completion of annexation applications easier.

Kingsland Municipal Utility District (KMUD) Board members recently adjusted one significant part of the utility’s annexation policy.

District officials anticipate property owners will discover the change will make their completion of annexation applications easier.

“The new policy requires no deposit, only one annexation fee of $500 per lot without all (adjacent) properties touching,” KMUD General Manager J Horry told The Highlander.
