Joseph’s Hammer continues to support work on a special addition to the Ellen Halbert Unit in Burnet at 800 Halbert Drive, near the Burnet Municipal Airport and U.S. 281 south.

The non-profit group based in Horseshoe Bay is building a worship chapel at the women’s prison unit, where they plan to offer more than 300 inmates faith-based programs and worship services and help them find forgiveness, hope, restoration and transformation.

“We are working on the final steps to complete the project,” says Pam Stevenson, one of the Joseph’s Hammer organizers. “The chapel will help change lives.”
