Just in time for the reason for the season, First Methodist Church will present two special seasonal programs in the coming weeks.
On Dec. 8, the Chancel Choir, orchestra and Fire Bells will present Joseph Martin’s “Tidings of Joy,” a Celtic Christmas Celebration.
The performance will be in the sanctuary at 11:15 am at 1101 Bluebonnet. Admission is free.
On Dec. 21 at 4 p.m., the church will host a Service of the Longest Night for those who have suffered loss and find the holidays to be a time of sadness.
