Tough schedule motivates Faith Academy basketball team

The Faith Academy of Marble Falls boys basketball team earned a 3-1 record at the Lorena Tournament Dec. 5-7.

The Flames were set to play for the consolation championship, but the matchups meant facing Waco Live Oak, a District 4-3A opponent. Both programs at Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools members. Meanwhile, two University Interscholastic League members had a similar dilemma.

So tournament officials “switched the schedule,” Faith head coach Zakk Revell said.
