Marble Falls City Council recently approved two key agenda items to advance construction of the One Water Marble Falls Reclamation Plant behind Walmart at 2700 U.S. 281.
During the Dec. 3 meeting, council members voted 4-0 to approve from city bond funds a contract of $3.7 million with Plummer Associates to supervise engineering services for the plant project.
One council member, Mayor Pro-tem Craig Magerkurth, who is not part of Plummer but had a financial stake in a separate vote for construction management of the project, removed himself from the discussion and voting process.
