Dec. 7 at 10:12 p.m., Texas DPS Troopers responded to a two-vehicle fatality crash on Texas 71 near County Road 306.
A Toyota Corolla was traveling southeast on Texas 71 when it left the roadway on the southbound side. The driver overcorrected, causing the vehicle to cross back over the roadway and enter the westbound lane of Texas 71.
A Chevrolet Tahoe traveling west on Texas 71 was struck head-on by the Toyota.
