KMUD eyes new local playground

With help from one eager local friend, the Kingsland Community Center plans to open a new playground for children during upcoming months.

“Hopefully, it will be a big benefit to the community,” Kingsland Municipal Utility District General Manager J. Horry recently told The Highlander.

During the KMUD board meeting Dec. 16, local business owner Cody Young volunteered to lead the project.
