Marble Falls City Council recently took an important step toward relocation into a new area for day-to-day city hall administration.
During the Dec. 19 special meeting at the current City Hall at 800 Third Street, the council authorized City Attorney Josh Brockman Weber to continue negotiations to purchase for $2.5 million new space within the Commercial National Bank building at 110 Avenue H.
Mayor Dave Rhodes estimated the city may close the purchase sometime during February 2025.
