Helping Center makes 25th annual donation

The Helping Center is delighted to announce a generous donation of over $20,000 from the Helping Hands Craft Guild. The contribution stems from the proceeds of the guild’s annual “Bayside Bazaar,” held in November at the Lodge at Quail Point. The well-attended event showcased an array of art, jewelry, and handcrafted items created by local vendors and guild members. Attendees also enjoyed a style show and refreshments, making the day a memorable experience.

The guild’s support of The Helping Center began in 2000 as a trunk show fundraiser. Organizer Mary Daniel highlighted the growth of the initiative, noting, “This labor-of-love event has evolved from its humble beginnings into a full day of shopping, fellowship, and giving for a truly deserving cause.”

She added, “None of this would be possible without the dedication of our guild members, the vendors, and our enthusiastic attendees.” Guild members contribute both as a group, meeting twice a month, and individually, working from home to create their unique works.
