Quilters plan 25th anniversary and festival

Highland Lakes Quilt Guild (HLQG) is especially pleased to announce this year’s biennial Quilt Festival and 25th Silver Anniversary Celebration. A slate of new and enthusiastic board and committee members continue to delight and amaze our members with an exciting spectrum of programs and workshops for those who cherish traditional quilts or crave modern expressionism. Our own Leslie Sparks, a talented designer and longarm quilter, will begin the new year with the Jan. 15 program titled, “Choosing a Quilt Design,” to answer such questions as What comes first – the pattern or the fabric?
