As a new president prepares to lead the country, local Republicans want the community to join in on a down home Inauguration Celebration.
Burnet County Republicans are hosting the event on Monday, Jan. 20 at the AgriLife Building, 607 North Vanderveer, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Organizers will have the college national championship football game in the background.
A light meal of finger foods and cookies will be provided. Patriotic and country music will be performed by Bode Barker. Attendees will be asked to join in on the National Anthem.

In the spirit of the election campaign rallying cry of President-elect Donald J. Trump, coordinators believe the celebration will inspire attendees to “Make Burnet County Great Again!”
