The Burnet Central Appraisal District hopes soon to hire one construction manager soon to direct renovation of several enclosed square feet of office space the district owns at 215 S. Pierce, adjacent to district headquarters at 223 S. Pierce, near the Burnet County Courthouse east side and the Central Texas Groundwater Conservation District office.
“We are at a starting point now,” Chief Appraiser Stan Hemphill told The Highlander Jan. 17.
BCAD acquired the spacious indoor area at 215 S. Pierce (about 2,400 square feet) almost three years ago from the Caring Hearts of Children foster agency for about $400,000.
