The Marble Falls City Council streamlined its role in conjunction with a nonprofit crisis response organization during its regular meeting Jan. 21.
Councilors approved a memorandum of understanding between the between the city and Highland Lakes Crisis Network (HLCN), a non-governmental group which organizes volunteers to collect and distribute donations to needy recipients during inclement weather and other unforeseen events.
