The yearly statewide Veterans of Foreign Wars National Voice of Democracy Audio Essay results were recently announced at the VFW Department of Texas Mid Winter Conference held in Corpus Christi on Jan. 18.
The Marble Falls VFW Post 10376 was proud to have the honor of representing the 1st place winner, Addison Taylor.
Addison is a junior at Faith Academy in Marble Falls. She is the daughter of Brent and Kelley Taylor of Burnet. She presented her essay at the Honors Banquet on Saturday evening and was awarded a $10,000 Scholarship by the Department of Texas VFW.
