Annexation policy on radar for cities

Texas cities, especially smaller ones like Granite Shoals, have learned to keep an eye on the Texas Legislature during its biennial sessions. Since legislators gathered in Austin this month, City Attorney Joshua Katz has been tracking bills that could affect Granite Shoals, and during Tuesday’s city council meeting he brought council members up to date on some of them.
