The Llano County Attorney recently hired Llano County Sheriff-elect Marquis Cantu as a parttime investigator.
“I am very pleased with his attention to his duties and his willingness to assist in whatever I ask of him,” County Attorney Dwain Rogers told The Highlander this week.
Cantu will assume Llano County Sheriff duties Jan., 1 2025, Rogers added.
