I am honored to submit my application and resume for your review and consideration to be appointed to fill the remaining term of Burnet County judge. My career body of work over the 40 years of service to the state of Texas, Burnet County and citizens of Texas demonstrates a life of service, integrity, leadership and highly successful major project planning. When the job is tough I get the job done.
I have already announced that I am running for Burnet County judge in the next election, I want to be the Burnet County judge, not just for the next two years, but for the next 10 years. We have serious work to do and issues to resolve and I am ready to go to work on day one.
I did not grow up in Burnet County. My wife and I chose Burnet to finish out our lives and we live and thrive here now and have for the last fiveplus years. I am very active in the community and committed to service of others. To include: Burnet Rotarian, member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church (choir member) and supporter of numerous charitable entities. Hill Country Humane Society (title sponsor), Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center (Purse Bingo and Rifles, Racks & Deer Tracks), CASA Boots & BBQ, Burnet CISD Education Foundation, Phoenix Center Gala, Hill Country 100 Club, Central Texas 100 Club, Travis County Livestock Show, Margaret Trevino Scholarship, and the YMCA of the Highland Lakes.
I will work daily, focused and driven to restore the integrity of the office. I will work tirelessly beside each of you and other elected officials and department heads for the benefit of all the citizens of Burnet County.
Respectfully,
Alan S. Trevino
