On Feb. 7, Marble Falls police with the assistance of a SWAT team served a warrant which netted the arrest of several residents on prescription drug, other controlled substance and paraphernalia charges.
Law enforcement entered the home at 6 a.m. in the 1500 block of Sixth Street in Marble Falls, according to the media release.
"The information leading to the warrant stemmed from evidence obtained during a traffic stop that occurred on Jan. 31," said Marble Falls Police Capt. James Cole in the statement. "During the search, officers found items of drug paraphernalia, THC products, cash, and an illegal prescription medicine."
Those arrested included:
• Alex Monzon, 21, of Marble Falls was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 >= 4 Grams < 400 Grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;
• Alyssa Presa, 24, of Marble Falls was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 >= 4 Grams < 400 Grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;
• Mary Jowers, 48, of Marble Falls was arrested for Possession of a Dangerous Drug; and
• Raul Vasquez, 20, of Marble Falls was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 < 1 Gram and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
