A Burnet facility was host to elite athletes in the air pistol arena on Feb. 7, 8 and 9.
This was the first time for the facility, 2802 S. Water (U.S. 281), to host a competition of this level as well as the first time for a pistol category and paralympians.
For the International Air Pistol competition, Sonti Jared from Copperas Cove is no stranger to the winner’s podium as he makes a transition from bullseye pistol to international air pistol.
