Children’s library, librarian serve as friends to community

We love our libraries and librarians. Anyone who visits the Kingsland Public Library already knows this, but Children’s Librarian April Puryear recently received “Favorite Librarian” recognition throughout Burnet and Llano counties.

Anyone who visits the Kingsland Public Library already knows this, but Children’s Librarian April Puryear recently received “Favorite Librarian” recognition throughout Burnet and Llano counties. Her Wednesday at 10 a.m. Storytime is well attended and promises a fun and interactive time for parents and their toddlers.

The library’s program efforts are supported by the Friends of the Kingsland Library who meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month (Jan-Oct) at 2 p.m. at the Kingsland Library, 25 W Polk Street. They welcome new members and encourage all visitors to see what the organization and its fundraising efforts are about.
