The 21st Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet of the Hill Country 100 Club will be held at the YMCA of the Highland Lakes in Burnet March 6, from 6 to 9 p.m.
The deadline for nominations is Feb. 26.
First responder agencies may submit one nominee from the agency to be recognized at the banquet as the Responder of the Year from your agency. (Dispatchers, jailers and support staff are also eligible.)
Additionally, we also present awards for Meritorious Service. This prestigious award honors individuals who have displayed extraordinary courage, demonstrated exceptional skill in saving lives or exhibited the utmost dedication to their communities. As our highest and most distinguished accolade, it is reserved exclusively for those who exemplify remarkable selflessness
and unwavering dedication to the well-being of others.
The Hill Country 100 Club Board of Directors wants to recognize those responders who have dedicated their lives to public safety. We are asking for agencies to fill out and return the Lifetime Achievement Award form for any responder from your agency who has had 25 years or more of service in public safety (cumulative from all agencies throughout their career) and who retired in 2024. Please return the completed form to: Stephanie Fisher at [email protected].
Please reach out to Stephanie Fisher at sfisherhc100club@ gmail.com or Mark Whitacre at [email protected] for Responder of the Year, Meritorious Service, and Lifetime Achievement Award nomination forms. If your agency does not intend to nominate anyone, please reply to this email with your agency name and a quick note letting us know that you will not be making any nominations.
