Special to The Highlander For a traditional annual celebration with food, this year in memory of Ruby Ross, the CASI Regional Chili Championship known as Howdy Roo will be held May 2 and 3.
The location for the 53rd annual event has changed this year from a Marble Falls park to Quarry Park at 2221 N Phillips RR in Granite Shoals.
The Howdy Roo Chili Championship’s committee invites you to join us in helping to raise money for the Mar- ble Falls High School Band Booster Club and MFHS FFA as well as Granite Shoals Fire Rescue auxiliary.
