Two people found dead at a residence in Lake Buchanan Village has prompted an investigation by the Llano County Sheriff's Office.

The incident unfolded at 5:19 p.m. on March 5 when deputies found “two deceased individuals in a residence” in Tow.

“The residence did not have any signs of forced entry and no indications of criminal activity,” according to the media release. “Based on the current findings there is no threat to public safety.”

Preliminary reports indicate authorities are not investigating the case as suspicious.

“Based on the current findings there is not threat to public safety,” the media release stated. “At this time, due to the sensitive nature of the incident, the names of the deceased are being withheld.”

Chief Deputy Tracy Taylor was unavailable for additional details by press time on March 6.

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends and residents of Buchanan Lake Village,” the release stated.
