Soccer team gives Davenport first district loss

The Marble Falls High School boys soccer team defeated San Antonio Davenport 2-1 March 7 in District 26-4A play to give the Wolves their only district loss with two games remaining in the regular season.

The Marble Falls High School boys soccer team defeated San Antonio Davenport 2-1 March 7 in District 26-4A play to give the Wolves their only district loss with two games remaining in the regular season.

“It was a big win,” Mustangs head coach Ryan Craven said. “We’ve been in a lot of close games. We’ve won a lot of close games. It was definitely good to win one this late in the season.”

The two teams played to a 0-0 first half tie.
