Fatality victims identified in multiple car crash

Three people died in a multiple vehicle crash in Blanco County March 5 just north of Johnson City on U.S. 281.

Emergency crews were called to U.S. 281 at Ranch Road 1323 for a vehicle accident around noon at the height of a red flag wind event.

Three people – two adult and one pediatric patient – were pronounced dead on the scene “after extensive resuscitative efforts in the field, including the administration of blood products,” according to North Blanco County EMS.
