Llano County regains hospital control

After two failed associations with health systems Llano County is going back to managing the community hospital on its own. Llano County commissioners heard March 10 that details of an agreement were being finalized with MidCoast Health Systems of El Campo which had been controlling the hospital.

Llano County commissioners heard March 10 that details of an agreement were being finalized

with MidCoast Health Systems of El Campo which had been controlling the hospital. Mid-Coast took over the hospital in 2021 after Baylor Scott and White declined to renew its contract with the county.
