AARP Tax Aide will help with filing taxes

The AARP Foundation Tax Aide is offering free federal tax return preparation and electronic filing at: Trinity

Episcopal Church, 909 Ave. D in Marble Falls on Thursdays, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. through April 10; Reed Building, 402 East Jackson Street in Burnet Mondays, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. through April 14; and Highland Lakes Senior Center, 351 W. Chamberlain St. in Kingsland Wednesdays, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., through April 9.

Besides W-2 and 1099 forms, bring a social security card for each person on the return and a driver’s license or other photo ID. A copy of last year’s tax return is useful. Request appointments by email to [email protected] or call 888-687-2277, option 0, or go online at aarp.org.
