Jan “Goldy” MacDonald, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, March 18th, 2025 at 8:02 PM after a long and courageous battle with COPD.
She was 65.
Jan was the devoted mother of Jared MacDonald of Arizona, April Fountaine of Texas, and Steven MacDonald of Virginia. She was The cherished grandmother to Luke and Elizabeth Fountaine, who brought her endless joy.
She found peace and happiness in nature, spending countless hours planting flowers and enjoying the outdoors.
Her love for music-especially rock and roll-was infectious, and she was always up for a good time. Her beloved kitty, baloo, who brought her comfort in her later years, will now be cared for by Jared Jan was divorced from Doug MacDonald and widowed by Matthew Cirilli. Though she faced many hardships, she remained strong, full of love, and dedicated to her family.
Her grandchildren held a spe-cial place in her heart, and she treasured every moment with them.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family finds solace in knowing that she is now at peace, her spirit forever blooming like the flowers she so dearly loved.
