Jim Reimei s. 71 of Marble Falls, went to his Heavenly home Saturday March 15th.
2025 at his home in Fairland.
Tx. Jim was born November 3rd. 1953 in Taylor. Tx and spent most of his childhood in Taylor and his teenage years in Killeen. Tx. He was the 3rd of 5 children born to Minnie Sophie Kaatz (Reimers) and Nelson Page Reimers. After high school. Jim found himself back in Marble Falls (Fairland) where his ancestors settled and spent his earlier life working as a produce/ meat market manager for Lakeland Grocery store in Marble Falls. In 1981 he started in his most loved position and worked as a control room operator for LCRA at the Ferguson Power Plant in Horseshoe Bay. He would retire from here after nearly 25 years. The Ferguson plant and his coworkers were a huge part of his life and where he found joy doing what he loved. In 1982 he became a father to his daughter. Amanda Leigh Reimers (Peschel) and again in 1984 to his son. Gregory Nelson Reimers. In mid 1990 he met Jeannette Kirkpatrick, they married November 11th 2000. and welcomed in Kayla Kirkpatrick and Aaron Kirkpatrick. Jim is remembered for his prankster personality and being the life of the party wherever he went. Jim loved anything that was fast. Motorcycles, corvettes, life, and loved to cram the most fun he could have in a day. He enjoyed hosting parties, telling jokes, and he could make up the most elaborate silly stories while having you hanging

Cooking was a passion of his and often cooked for crowds and could stop people in their tracks with his brisket and ribs and often cooked for the boat racers when they came to Marble Falls. In his spare time, he also enjoyed fishing the hill country, dove hunting, and delving into family history. He loved history.
Survivors include his wife.

Ella Peschel. Nelson Peschel: Great grandchildren, Leighton Buth and Jameson Buth: niece Michelle Reimers (Kelso): Nephew Mike Reimers: as well as his long time best friend Mike Royal. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents. William (Bill) and Nettie Reimers and William and Freidericka Kaatz; his parents. Nelson and Minnie Reimers: his son. Greg Reimers: his sister Nancy Jo Reimers: brothers. Kelly Reimers. Gene Reimers, and Joe Reimers: his nephew. Gary Eugene Reimers.
