The Marble Falls Monarchs recently earned a bronze medal after taking part in the challenging Special Olympics basketball competition in San Marcos hosted by Texas State University at the Jowers Center.
The Monarchs team included Devin Copus, Taylor Johnson, Jaden Lizcano, Santos Morales, Daniel Pugh and Peldar Stogsdill.
“We had been practicing pretty hard core since January,” Coach Fallan Brandt told The Highlander.
