The Marble Falls High School softball team lost to Lampasas 17-5 April 3 in a District 24-4A contest that ended in five innings.
The win means the Lady Badgers (10-12, 2-6) split the season series with the Lady Mustangs (10-12, 2-6). But Lampasas’ other district win is against Jarrell 12-10 April 1. Those victories put the Lady Badgers firmly in the conversation for finishing fourth in the district race and advancing to the playoffs.
Meanwhile, Marble Falls simply must find a way to get a win to snap a six-game losing streak in district.
