CASA for the Highland Lakes Area presented its 2025 Angeles Among Us Award to the Hill Country Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace at their annual volunteers meeting. The meeting was held at the Quail Point Lodge in Horseshoe Bay.
Accepting the annual award were Co-Presidents Jeff Matera and Leo Boutte of Sleep in Heavenly Peace Hill Country. Also in attendance were local child advocates and officials from CASA for the Highland Lakes Area.
“Every child deserves a safe, comfortable place to sleep at night,” said Boutte, “When we deliver a bed to a child who has been sleeping on the floor, we’re not just providing furniture -- we’re delivering hope, dignity, and the message that their community cares about them.”
