Residents voice rail line concerns

On April 8, more than 200 local residents voiced fierce opposition at a town hall on a planned railroad line re-activation in northern Burnet County. The meeting was held at the Hill Country Fellowship main auditorium, 200 Houston Clinton Drive.

On April 8, more than 200 local residents voiced fierce opposition at a town hall on a planned railroad line re-activation in northern Burnet County.

The meeting was held at the Hill Country Fellowship main auditorium, 200 Houston Clinton Drive.

The Texas Materials Group has in- dicated it plans to revive an old railway along U.S. 281 between Burnet and Lampasas for the purpose of hauling crushed granite between quarries.
