High-energy country comes to local theater

This toe-tappin’ celebration of classic and contemporary country hits takes the stage Saturday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 4 at 2 p.m.

Packed with hit after hit, “AKA Goes Country” promises an evening of non-stop music, dynamic choreography, and infectious fun that’ll have you singing along and clapping your hands. From heartfelt ballads to high-octane anthems, the show is designed to keep the energy flowing and the audience smiling from start to finish.

Founded in 2000 by Cathy Rose, AKA has been dazzling audiences across Texas for 25 years with their signature musical revues, spanning golden oldies, Broadway classics, and everything in between. Now, having made HCCT their home stage, they’re bringing the best of country to the Hill Country with this exciting new addition to their repertoire.

“When AKA performs, it’s more than just a show – it’s a party!” says Rose. And this spring, everyone’s invited.
