Local herbalist Stephanie Tourles will talk about Texas herbs during her presentation, Common Medicinal Herbs in the Texas Hill Country: Cultivating & Wildcrafting, to the Highland Lakes Birding and Wildflower Society Thursday,
May 1, in Burnet at the Burnet County Agri-Life Extension, 607 N. Vanderveer. She will discuss six common healing herbs (three that are easy to grow and three that are locally wild-growing). You’ll learn their beneficial properties and how they can be used medicinally.
