The first Cottonwood Health Care Fair was a great success, blessed with perfect weather and a wonderful community turnout.

Over 40 vendors participated, offering a wide range of health and fitness services, food pantries, pet services, local first responder departments and other resources and information to attendees.

The driving forces behind this successful event were Cheri Trinidad, mayor pro tem of Cottonwood Shores and director of the Cupboard at Cottonwood Food Pantry assisted by 365 Pet Connection and Evette Miller, event coordinator.

Their vision, dedication, and hard work brought this event to life and set a high standard for future fairs.

Free Lunch

Local businesses and health services showed incredible generosity, providing fantastic giveaways that were enjoyed by many. The event also served free lunches sponsored by Miss Vicki’s Catering of Marble Falls.

Bloodmobile

Baylor Scott & White Health bloodmobile was on hand to collect donations for the local need and the daily goal of generous blood donations was exceeded.

A special thank-you goes out to Cottonwood Shores Mayor Jared Dodd, whose commitment to community spirit shone through. Four of Mayor Dodd’s 10 children volunteered as concierges, helping vendors set up their booths and ensuring the event ran smoothly. Their polite, energetic assistance was noticed and appreciated by all.

We are excited about the momentum built this year and look forward to an even bigger and better event next year.
