Benini Museo hosts UT Italian class students

Museo Benini was loud recently with the Italian language, songs and laughter as the second semester Italian language class from the University of Texas toured the museum and sculpture trails, with their professor Milanese Vanessa Fanelli. “It was such a good experience for the students to tour the artwork at the museum and at the same time actually hear and practice the language they are studying,” professor Fanelli said.

Benini, who was born in Imola, in northern Italy, answered questions, spoke of his life as an artist in his early years in Italy and shared several hours with group.

“I truly enjoyed these students,” Benini commented, “they were bright, engaging and a pleasure to share time with.”
