Regulatory ‘Trojan horses’ threaten Texas businesses

Most of us are familiar with the story of the Trojan Horse. After years of failing to breach Troy’s walls, Greek forces finally succeeded by offering a seemingly harmless gift – a wooden horse that concealed soldiers who would open the city gates from within. Today, our economic prosperity faces a similar threat from regulatory Trojan horses left behind by the Biden administration.

I’ve served as a business advocate in Texas for years, working to create a state environment where businesses can thrive. As a business advocate, I’ve been applauding President Trump’s commitment to regulatory reform. His day-one regulatory freeze and “ten-for-one” requirement for new regulations are already unleashing entrepreneurial energy across the nation.

However, much like the citizens of Troy who celebrated too soon, we risk undermining our own economic revival if we ignore Deep State regulatory Trojan horses planted by Biden bureaucrats throughout the federal bureaucracy.
