The Lower Colorado River Authority is expanding the ways members of the public can share feedback on a proposed aggregate processing plant and quarry near Inks Lake.
In addition to providing comments online or by mail, members of the public are welcome to share their comments in person between 8 and 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13 at the Burnet Community Center, 401 E. Jackson St. in Burnet.
During the meeting, each person wanting to provide feedback will go to one of the stations set up around the community center and will have three minutes to share comments on the quarry application from Asphalt Inc. All comments will be recorded and provided to LCRA staff members to consider in their evaluation of the application and whether it meets the standards of the Highland Lakes Watershed Ordinance.
