Jimmie Veneita Bible passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on October 31, 1940, in Spicewood, Texas, to James and Alta Burton, Jimmie lived a life marked by love, faith, and joyful dedication to her family and community.

During her school years, Jimmie was active and accomplished— playing basketball, competing at the Regional State tennis meet, serving as Class Vice-President, and participating in the Future Homemakers of America. She had a bright, spirited presence that friends and classmates cherished.

On February 11, 1960, Jimmie married her high school sweetheart, Darrell Bible. Their love was rooted in friendship and laughter, as reflected in the words written in her yearbook: “He was a real swell boy with a real swell personality. Love you always.” Their bond remained strong throughout a lifetime shared together. They were blessed with three sons: Eugene, Gavin, and Bret.

Jimmie worked for 10 years at Burnam Brothers Sporting Goods and later dedicated 20 years to serving students and staff at Marble Falls Independent School District (MFISD).

Her friendly smile and contagious laugh left a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.

Above all, Jimmie loved the Lord and her family deeply. Her warmth, generosity, and enduring faith touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Darrell, her sons and their wives: Eugene and Robin Bible, Gavin and Marcia Bible, and Bret and Mona Bible; as well as nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren: Brandon Bible and wife Jessica; Ashley Mihelich and husband Brandon (Baby Mihelich); Blyss Herrera and husband Ben (Brixley and Bennett); Kaitlyn Halfmann and husband Scott (Jett); Kimberly Ebeling and husband Max (Sutton and Kase); Blair Bowen and husband Carson (Brigham); Jaylan Taylor and husband Lance (Whitley and Lyla); Chelsea Bible; and Kendall Bible. Her memory will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she leaves behind.

Visitation will be held on May 8, 2025 from 5 7 pm at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. A service to celebrate her life will be held on May 9, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Marble Falls Church of Christ. She will be laid to rest in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the Helping Center of Marble Falls, PO Box 402, Marble Falls, TX 78654 or online at: https://www.helpingcenter. org/one-time-gift Jimmie’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and light—and she will be dearly missed.
