The Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center (HCCAC) recently hosted the official grand opening of its new facility in Burnet, joined by city leaders, stakeholders, dedicated volunteers, board members and HCCAC staff. This milestone marks a major step forward in serving children and families affected by trauma throughout our region.

The project was made possible through a strong partnership between the city of Burnet and the advocacy center, with funding provided by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.

A nearly $5 million grant supported the construction of the new center, which now serves as the central location for trauma-informed care across a five-county service area.

Much of the vital work carried out by the Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center now takes place in this beautiful, purpose-built facility – helping ensure a safe, supportive space for healing and hope.
