Join the Inks Lake State Park staff for the ‘Big Sit’ at the Park Store, 3480 PR 4 in Burnet County, on May 10 from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. The cost is $7 per person or free with a state park pass. Help spot and ID as many birds as possible throughout the day. Visit birdingclassic.org.
Guild Scholarships
The Highland Lakes Quilt Guild (HLQG) is accepting scholarships applications from adult women wishing to continue their degree or certication in their chosen eld. These scholarships are not open to high school seniors. Application forms are available at the Highland Lakes Quilt Guild website. All applications need to be received by June 11, 2025.
