As part of its May 21 regular meeting, Marble Falls City Council made several board appointments with one handled under consent agenda.
Passed unanimously, the item involved the appointment of council member (and former mayor) Richard Westerman to serve on Tax Increment Reinvestment Board Zone No. 2. Westerman was elected to the Place 5 position following the May election.
Almost three years ago, the No. 2 board was created to promote development of the Thunder Rock master planned community and planned improvement district over 1,073 acres in Marble Falls, between Texas 71 and FM 2147, west of U.S. 281.
