LCRA is scheduled to be in Burnet this week related to the proposed quarry on more than 700 acres in Hoover’s Valley adjacent to Inks Lake.
Locals are invited to attend the meeting 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, at the Burnet Community Center, 401 E. Jackson St. to express concerns about the quarry, according to LCRA representatives.
“We definitely have some concerns,” SaveBurnet. com director Randy Printz told the Highlander. “Quite a few of our people will be there to voice their comments.”
