MFISD administrator addresses ratings drop, remedies

Editor’s Note: From 2018-19 to 2022-23, the overall rating in the TEA accountability A-F rankings for Marble Falls ISD fell approximately 10 points, from a B to a C. Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruc- tion Yarda Leflet explains contributing factors as well as plans for academic success.

The reason for the drop in scoring that you will notice in comparison to the prior years is due to a refresh in the 2023 A-F rating system.

The calculations in the system were adjusted, and most districts had a similar drop.
