Grant to give Granite Shoals water access edge

Granite Shoals is anticipating a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) that city officials believe will increase and upgrade the city’s ability to pump water out of Lake LBJ. It will cost the city $50,000 in matching funds, according to the grant.

Granite Shoals is anticipating a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) that city officials believe will increase and upgrade the city’s ability to pump water out of Lake LBJ.

It will cost the city $50,000 in matching funds, according to the grant.

The grant will cover replacement of three variable frequency drives, two raw water pump, one permanently installed air compressor and controls and associated equipment.
