Spicewood Christian Academy (SCA), a thriving private Christian school nestled on over three acres in the heart of Spicewood, is celebrating a major milestone: the completion of its fourth successful year and an exciting leap into its fifth. With steady growth, strong leadership, and new opportunities arising from recent education reforms in Texas, SCA is poised to serve even more families across Spicewood, Lakeway, Horseshoe Bay, and Marble Falls.
Founded with a mission to provide a Christ-centered, exemplary academic education, Spicewood Christian Academy offers a fulltime schedule (4.5 days per week) for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The campus’s central location makes it easily accessible for families throughout the Hill Country, and with ample room to expand, SCA is uniquely positioned to continue its upward trajectory without sacrificing its close-knit, community- centered culture.
This year, the school ushered in an exciting new chapter by installing Timothy West as head of school. West, who also serves as a pastor and elder at Hope Rock Church (with campuses in Lakeway, Johnson City, and an upcoming new campus in Spicewood), brings exceptional leadership experience and a deep passion for nurturing the next generation both spiritually and academically. Under his guidance, the school community is flourishing, and plans for future growth are already taking shape.
